Johan talks about 25 years Worldtrading Europe

With their family background in retail, Johan and his wife Kim set up their first outlet store in Sint-Niklaas in 1999. Driven by hard work, innovation and strong partnerships with manufacturers such as Henkel, Procter & Gamble and others, they quickly expanded to become the A-brand partner for manufacturers and low-end retailers.

What began as a modest company quickly grew into an international A-brand distributor. Through their expertise and commitment, Worldtrading Europe quickly became an important link in the supply chain, offering their partners strategic distribution solutions.

Personal contact and A-brands for everyone

Our mission is to preserve the physical shopping experience, especially as it is increasingly disappearing due to digitalization. Johan has great sympathy for retailers and is happy to support start-up stores strategically and financially so that they can compete with larger players.

In addition, WTE strives to make A-brands accessible to everyone. Strong partnerships with manufacturers allow us to offer products at competitive prices, Johan says, so that all walks of life can enjoy the benefits of A-brands.

Sustainable growth and global expansion

In the coming years, WTE plans to expand further into Asia, Africa and the Indian continent to make A-brands accessible to a wider audience. Sustainability remains a key driver in this regard. "We want to contribute to climate solutions by offering products that consume less energy and water," says Johan. With new foreign branches, WTE aims to reduce its ecological footprint and serve customers even more efficiently. At the same time, the product range continues to expand, always with an eye on the mission to make high-quality A-brands available to everyone.

WTE simplifies the supply chain through in-house inventory management and fast delivery, allowing manufacturers to focus on their large customers while WTE can offer smaller buyers that same quality service.
